Lightning Strike

During our bunker renovation last year on hole #7, lightning came from sky, out of the blue. A typical day in South Florida; rain on one side of the street and blue skies on the other. Standing 75 feet away from where the lightning hit, water poured out of the ground after a 2 ½ inch water pipe burst from the lightning strike. The fairway had been aerated the week prior, as you can see the water pouring out of the holes in the grass. All you could see and hear was a bright light and loud crash. Very lucky no body got hurt, and lightning did not strike the Track Hoe. Which, was where all eight of us were working at the time.

Talk about blow your socks off. Glad no one was hurt. Funny the way the water's coming out of the ground.
